Learn AI in a Week: A Beginner's Plan

ON RAMP AI · BLOG

Here's a real seven-day plan, not a marketing version of one. Each day is one task, five to ten minutes, nothing to prepare in advance.

Day one: ask it to explain a word or acronym you've been quietly unsure about. Day two: ask for help drafting a short message you've been putting off. Day three: ask it to summarize something long — an article, an email chain — into a few sentences. Day four: describe a small decision you're weighing and ask for a plain pros-and-cons rundown. Day five: ask it to help plan something practical, like a grocery list or a simple trip. Day six: try correcting a response — ask for something shorter, friendlier, or more direct than what you got. Day seven: pick your own real task, start to finish, with no prompts from me.

By the end of that week, you haven't studied AI in any formal sense. You've just used it seven times on seven real things, which is a far better teacher than any explanation could be.

If you'd like this same week mapped out with more detail and examples built in, that's exactly what On Ramp AI's early lessons do. Here's a look.
