If typing is uncomfortable, most devices let you tap a microphone icon on the keyboard and speak your message instead — Claude reads it the same either way.
Say what you want plainly: "Can you help me write a card message for my grandson's birthday." Send it. Read the response at whatever pace you like — there's no timer, no one waiting on the other end.
If it's not quite right, say so in your own words, the same way you'd correct a person. It'll try again immediately.
